I recently created a vinyl wall mural for Cygnet Health in Somerset, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome!

The space

Its a place for arts, crafts and where people come together to be expressive. As with every project, I’m dedicated to understanding what my clients need, so I worked closely with the team to design a concept that reflected their regular activities, matched Cygnet’s brand colours, and captured the joy that fills this room. The result? A bright, bold, and playful mural that truly celebrates the creative spirit of the space.

The Process

Step 1 - Measurements and Brief

I started this project with a site visit to measure up, discuss timeframes and talk about initial concepts and ideas.

Step 2 - Mood Board and Sketches

With the brief mapped out, I created a mood board of imagery to show the client the kind of images they could expect, drawing digitally allows me to add rough sketches straight into the space for the client to then visualise.

Step 3 - Colour. Once the sketches have been signed off it then time for colour work! We decided on bold flat colours, to make the images look lore graphic and clean, whilst sticking to the bright colours of the Cygnet colour pallette.

Step 4 - Printing and installation

Once the colour work was signed off, it could then be printed. These vinyls are printed and laminated in a matt laminate finish which worked perfectly for the space. But why Vinyl over paint? Using vinyl is ideal in spaces that need to be regularly cleaned, as they area easily wipeable. The installation process is also alot quicker than painting, meaning you can go back to using your space quicker and without an awful paint smell!

Fun Facts

  • People working or creating in colour-rich spaces often show higher creativity and motivation (source: WellBuilt Places, 2024).

  • Environmental design research shows colour and form can reduce stress and support wellbeing (source: Scientific American, 2023).

But why me? Cost Effective. Time Effective. Practical.

With years of experience in both vinyl wall murals and illustration, I offer the full package — no middleman, no outsourcing costs, and one point of contact for every stage of the process: design, print, and installation.

If you’re looking for bold, playful wall art that transforms spaces into talking points and brings your brand’s personality to life, I'd love to help. Whether you’re in Somerset, Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, or further even afield, lets create something extraordinary!
